Clarence Edgard-Rosa is a French journalist and writer specializing in feminist issues. She is the founder of Gaze, the magazine of female perspectives.

A journalist, Clarence collaborated with French magazines Causette and Elle, then joined Marie Claire as digital editor in chief before creating Gaze in 2020.

Gaze is a biannual and bilingual French-English fine print magazine celebrating the female gaze, led by a talented team of women. It’s also a consulting and creative studio, specializing in female perspectives and empowerment.

Clarence is the author of an ABC book of feminism, published in 2016 and reissued in pocket-format in 2021. She also wrote Connais-toi toi-même (“know yourself”), a guide to self-exploration of the female anatomy, published in 2019. As a writer, she is represented by Ariane Geffard.

She is a speaker, teacher and director of a master's degree at French journalism school IEJ.
